Please be advised that Part D of the 1 November 2025 Prescribed List (published on 24 October 2025) will shortly be updated and re-published. This update addresses the inclusion of the following single billing code that had been inadvertently deleted:
Product Category | Billing Code | Product Name | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| 03 - General Miscellaneous | QQ749 | Rythmic Evolution | Ambulatory infusion pump system intended to support intravenous, intra-arterial, subcutaneous, or intraperitoneal administration of medicine, and may be used in close proximity to nerves, into an intraoperative site (soft tissue, body cavity /surgical wound site), epidural space, or subarachnoid space. This is a reusable device. |
We ask that all Private Health Insurers honour benefit claims for this billing code from 1 November 2025.
The Part D Excel files on the Prescribed List webpage have been updated to reflect this inclusion. Please note that the XML will not be regenerated, so we kindly ask that stakeholders update their systems manually to include this billing code in Part D. Full details for this billing code can be found on the Prescribed List webpage.
We will publish a PHI Circular to notify all stakeholders when the Private Health Insurance (Medical Devices and Human Tissue Products) Rules have been amended.
We apologise for the inconvenience of this change.
