The Private Health Insurance Legislation Amendment Rules (No. 8) 2025 (the Amendment Rules) make consequential changes to the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2011 and Private Health Insurance (Benefit Requirement) Rules 2011. These reflect changes commencing from 1 November 2025 to MBS items in the General Medical Services Table (GMST), Pathology Services Table (PST) and Diagnostic Imaging Services Table (DIST), and those made by reason of Ministerial Determination under subsection 3C(1) of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
