The third and final reduction of Prescribed List (PL) benefits for medical devices on Part A of the PL is scheduled for 1 July 2024. This activity is part of the Prostheses List Reforms; and required under the Memorandum of Understanding with the Medical Technology Association of Australia.
We have shared with sponsors the proposed adjusted PL benefits effective 1 July 2024 for each of their billing codes, via email.
If your organisation has device(s) listed on Part A of the PL and has not received an email from us with the proposed adjusted PL benefits, please contact us as soon as possible. Any requests for review or clarification are due by 25 April 2024.
