The final AOANJRR CRIS is now published and includes a summary of stakeholder feedback and departmental responses.

The levy imposition day for the 2024–25 National Joint Replacement Registry (NJRR) levy was 28 February 2026. Under the Private Health Insurance (Levy Administration) Rules 2025, payment is due 21 days after this date, making the due date 20 March 2026.

For compliance purposes, these legislated dates have been applied to invoices issued to sponsors of joint replacement devices subject to the annual NJRR levy. Due to unforeseen delays in Government processes, invoices will be issued on 19 March 2026, resulting in a very short payment timeframe.

The Department acknowledges this constraint. If sponsors anticipate any difficulty in meeting the payment deadline, please email PLcostrecovery@health.gov.au to discuss reasonable arrangements. Further information will be provided to relevant sponsors.
