The Private Health Insurance Legislation Amendment Rules (No.2) 2026 the Amendment Rules) make consequential changes to the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2011.
These changes rectify an administrative error identified in the Private Health Insurance Legislation Amendment Rules (No. 1) 2026, returning items 81000, 81005, 81010, 82204, 82206, 93718, 93719, 93720, 93721, 93722, 93723, 93724 to the Support list.
The Amendment Rules were registered on 25 February 2026 Private Health Insurance Legislation Amendment Rules (No.2) 2026 on the Federal Register of Legislation and commence from 1 March 2026. Further details on the Amendment Rules can be found in the accompanying Explanatory Statement.
