Prescribed List announcement
The delegate of the Minister of Health, Disability and Ageing has made the Private Health Insurance (Medical Devices and Human Tissue Products) Rules (No. 1) 2026 (the MDHTP Rules).
The MDHTP Rules were registered on the Federal Register of Legislation on 19 February 2026 and replace the Private Health Insurance (Medical Devices and Human Tissue Products) Rules (No. 2) 2025.

Changes effected in the MDHTP Rules
The MDHTP Rules give effect to all changes resulting from completion of the Prescribed List applications (new, amendment, expansion, compression, deletion, and transfer applications).
