National Joint Replacement Registry Levy 2025-26
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing would like to inform sponsors that the Private Health Insurance (National Joint Replacement Register Levy) Amendment Rule 2025 was registered on 26 November 2025, amending the 2025-26 financial year levy date from 30 November 2025 to 28 February 2026. The levy date for the 2026-27 financial year and subsequent financial years will be 30 November.
A draft Cost Recovery Impact Statement (CRIS) will be released for consultation in mid-January 2026. A final CRIS is expected to be published in mid-February 2026. Invoices will then be sent to relevant sponsors in early March 2026.
