Stakeholder are invited to provide feedback on the draft Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 for the National Joint Replacement Registry (NJRR).

The draft CRIS includes detailed activities that are planned for the NJRR for each financial year between 2025-2028; and the updated cost recovery arrangements to reflect the new funding amount to the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Cost recovery of the NJRR supports Commonwealth funding to the AOA to administer the NJRR.

The CRIS were last updated on 30 November 2024 to report the financial and non-financial results for the 2023-24 financial year. They also outlined financial forecasts for 2024-25 and future financial years.

Stakeholders can submit their feedback to PLcostrecovery@Health.gov.au by Thursday 5 February 2026.

The final CRIS documents will include a summary of the feedback received from stakeholders.
