$8 million for research to improve mental health and prevent suicide

The Australian Government has announced $8 million for 10 mental health and suicide prevention research projects under the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

These projects will support the mental health of a range of Australians, including new fathers, children with eating disorders and people at risk of suicide.

Funding is from the 2022 Mental Health Research grant opportunity, under the MRFF’s Million Minds Mental Health Research Mission.
