Symptoms
If you have serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing, call 000 for urgent medical help.

Protect others and stop the spread
We can all help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Australia.
To protect others you must:
- practise good hygiene
- practise physical distancing
- follow the limits for public gatherings
- understand how to isolate if you need to
If you have a confirmed case, you must isolate yourself to stop the virus spreading to other people.

GP respiratory clinics
The Australian Government is establishing GP respiratory clinics around the country to assess people with fever, cough, a sore throat, or shortness of breath.
These are being rolled out gradually. If there is not one in your area yet visit your state or territory health department website for more information on fever clinics and other services.

Vaccines and treatments
Everyone in Australia will be offered a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine.
Australia now has 2 COVID-19 vaccines approved for use – AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has been provisionally approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for people 16 years and older.
The AstraZeneca vaccine has been provisionally approved by the TGA for people 18 years and older. Learn more about:
