We are seeking public feedback on the draft National Injury Prevention Strategy 2020–2030.
Injury is a major cause of preventable death and disability. The strategy aims to reduce rates of injury across all age groups in Australia over the next 10 years.
It includes a set of joint actions for governments, industry and the community. This will help increase safety in our environment, the products we use and our communities.
Submissions are currently open on our Consultation Hub. On 23 June, we extended the closing date to give stakeholders plenty of time to comment. Consultation now closes at 11:59pm on Friday 3 July 2020.
Your feedback is important and will help guide us as we finalise the strategy and its actions.
