The Australian Government is harnessing the power of sport and physical activity to build healthy, active, connected and thriving communities. To help shape the strategic direction of sport in Australia, a new National Sport Plan is being developed. The Office for Sport is undertaking a consultation to inform the development of the Plan.

The new Plan will be a high-level and overarching strategy for the future of sport in Australia. The Plan will also be an important mechanism to deliver on government commitments and priorities for sport.

The Plan will establish a shared vision and priorities that align to government sport strategies and plans. The consultation invites interested stakeholders to provide feedback on the proposed vision, principles, priority areas and measures of success for the plan.

You can provide feedback about the new Plan until 7 December 2023. We value the diverse views, experiences, and knowledge of interested members of the community.
