A national COVID-19 suppression strategy, with the goal of no community transmission remains a priority for National Cabinet.  Quarantine is a key part of this strategy. To support and to protect the wellbeing of quarantine workers and the wider community, AHPPC recommends a new testing regime for this group. This is in addition to a range of established risk management strategies in each state and territory. AHPPC recommends regular testing of workers in COVID-19 quarantine and isolation settings. AHPPC also recommends those at higher risk have a test every 7 days.
