$5.4 million for brain cancer research

The Australian Government is providing more than $5.4 million to support ground-breaking brain cancer research. Funding is from the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

Almost 2,000 Australians, including up to 200 children, are diagnosed with brain cancer each year.

Three projects will share over $5.4 million to help improve the health and wellbeing of brain cancer patients.

Funding is from the MRFF’s 2021 Brain Cancer Research grant opportunity, under the Australian Brain Cancer Mission.
