$276 million to support Australia’s brightest health scientists

To continue support for Australian health and medical research, the Australian Government is making available $276.4 million through 12 research grant opportunities. Funding is from the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

The Australian Government is providing $276.4 million through 12 research grant opportunities to improve health outcomes for all Australians and tackle global health challenges.

Researchers can apply for grants in a range of areas including chronic respiratory conditions, Indigenous health, and chronic neurological conditions. New funding is available to encourage early to mid-career researchers to find solutions to some of Australia’s greatest health challenges.
