$21.8 million for research into neurological disorders
The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) is supporting vital research that could mean major breakthroughs in treating a range of neurological disorders, including early Alzheimer’s disease, autism and encephalitis.

A total of 10 research projects will be funded through the Clinical Trials Activity initiative (part of the MRFF).
They include new treatments for:
- supranuclear palsy
- reducing fatigue in patients after a stroke
- reducing persistent pain after breast surgery
