Central and Eastern Sydney

The Central and Eastern Sydney PHN area has a population of about 1.6 million people. It covers the city area down along Sydney’s coastline to Waterfall, then as far west as Punchbowl and Homebush.

It also includes Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island.

Hunter New England and Central Coast

The Hunter New England and Central Coast PHN area has a population of about 1.3 million people. It covers Gosford to Taree along the coast, then inland to Tenterfield, and west to Moree.

Murrumbidgee

The Murrumbidgee PHN area has a population of about 243,000 people. It covers Khancoban to Boorowa and Young, then west to Hillston and Tooleybuc.

The Nepean Blue Mountains PHN area has a population of about 368,000 people. It covers St Clair and Penrith, then north to Mogo Creek and west to Katoomba and Portland.

The North Coast PHN area has a population of about 513,000 people. It covers Camden Haven, then north along the coastline to Tweed Heads, and west from Woodenbong down to Mount Seaview.

The Northern Sydney PHN area has a population of about 914,000 people. It covers all the northern Sydney suburbs up to the Hawkesbury River, from Manly and Epping to Laughtondale and Avalon.

The South Eastern New South Wales area has a population of about 611,000 people. It covers Eden to Wollongong along the coastline, then west along the New South Wales and Victoria border to Thredbo and north to Binalong.
