HTA pathway for diabetes-related products

From 1 November 2020, the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) is the designated HTA body to consider diabetes-related products for subsidisation under the NDSS and the Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Initiative.

Information about MSAC, including assessment processes, timeframes and document templates, is available on the MSAC website.

Review of products provided through the CGM Initiative

We have begun a review of all products currently subsidised under the CGM Initiative. This assessment will involve an HTA process, and be conducted by MSAC.
