Medicare UCCs can provide timely care for illnesses and injuries that are urgent but not life-threatening when you can’t see your GP.

Your care and your GP
With your consent, information about your visit can be shared with your regular GP to support continuity of care. Medicare UCCs are designed to ease pressure off hospitals and complement existing general practice services.
