Quality Use of Pathology Committee

The Quality Use of Pathology Committee provides advice on the Quality Use of Pathology Program (QUPP).

Role

The Quality Use of Pathology Committee:

  • oversees the strategic direction of QUPP
  • provides expert advice to the Australian Government on pathology quality initiatives under the program
  • provides expert advice that may inform the department’s consideration of funds for pathology quality priorities
  • promotes awareness of the quality use of pathology.

Members

The committee includes pathology professionals, scientists, medical practitioners, tertiary education representatives, pathology consumer representatives and representatives from the department.
