Role
The Health Technology Assessment Consumer Consultative Committee provides strategic advice and support to us and the principal HTA committees.
The committee’s work plan includes activities relating to consumer engagement and participation in HTA processes.
Its key functions are to:
- help us and the principal HTA committees to work together effectively with consumer representatives
- bring consumer and community evidence and views into HTA processes
- bring consumer and patient perspectives to us when we are developing important policies
- improve public understanding of HTA processes.
