The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) Incident Panel is activated on an ad hoc basis when a potential CJD transmission event is identified.
Its role is to advise on potential CJD transmission or contamination events when providing health care.
The Australian National CJD Registry coordinates the incident panel, and the Australian Government provides funding.
See reports from the CJD Incident Panel in the Communicable Diseases Intelligence journal.
