Role
The Allied Health Industry Reference Group (AHIRG) supports the Australian Government’s Chief Allied Health Officer (CAHO). It provides a regular opportunity for the CAHO to hear from the allied health sector about national-level allied health policy, program, and strategic issues. The CAHO shares information about the Government’s allied health work program to the group.

Meetings
The AHIRG meets four times a year in March, June, September and December. Additional meetings may be held if needed, as decided by the CAHO.
