About the Australian Immunisation Handbook updates
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) reviews the AIH 3 times per year to ensure that it remains a trusted source of information on immunisation and is updated as necessary. However, urgent updates to the content may be required throughout the year.
These update emails notify health professionals about changes to the AIH.

The updates are for health professionals who have a role in recommending and administering scheduled and catch-up vaccinations, including:
- general practitioners
- nurses
- midwives
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners and workers
- specialists
- pharmacists
- practice managers and administrators.
