  • Life Saving Drugs Program

    The Life Saving Drugs Program (LSDP) pays for specific essential medicines to treat patients with ultra-rare and life-threatening diseases.
  • Lifeline

    Lifeline provides information and immediate phone support to people who are struggling, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Market Adjustment Program (MAP)

    This program provides funding to strategically important aged care providers facing financial viability concerns. From 1 November 2025, MAP will expand to include both residential and Support at Home providers to ensure continuity of care for care recipients. Applications are by invitation only.
  • Medical Outreach Indigenous Chronic Diseases Program

    This program helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have chronic conditions to access health care. It does this by covering some costs – like travel and accommodation – for health professionals who provide the outreach services.
  • Medical Research Commercialisation initiative

    The Medical Research Commercialisation initiative will provide $450 million over 10 years from 2024–25 to support innovative early-stage health and medical research in Australia. It will help researchers transform ideas into life-saving medicines, devices and treatments to help future patients.
