Disability and carer committees and groups

Disability and Health Sector Consultation Committee

The DHSCC is a forum for people with disability, their carers, health and disability sector representatives and professionals, academic experts, and Commonwealth, state and territory governments to discuss policy matters relating to health and disability supports.

Disability Reform Ministerial Council

The Disability Reform Ministerial Council is a forum for Commonwealth and state and territory ministers responsible for disability policy to drive national reform.

Health Roadmap Working Group

The Health Roadmap Working Group is developing a roadmap to address the health and mental health inequities experienced by autistic people. The working group consists of a diverse range of stakeholders, including autistic people and representatives from the autism community.

National Autism Strategy Reference Group

The National Autism Strategy Reference Group (the Reference Group) ensures the experiences and expertise of the Autistic and autism community continue to shape the implementation of the Strategy

NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee

The NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee (EAC) will give advice to government on the suitability of supports for funding under the NDIS. This was announced in the 2024–25 Budget, as part of the response to the NDIS Review.

NDIS Reform Advisory Committee

The National Disability Insurance Scheme Reform Advisory Committee will give independent advice from people with disability on implementing reforms to the NDIS.
