The National Carer Strategy Reference Group provides expert, strategic advice to support implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the National Carer Strategy 2024–2034 and the Action Plan 2024– 2027.

The Reference Group has representatives from key organisations with relevant expertise and connections across the sectors supporting Australia’s diverse unpaid carers.
The Reference Group is chaired by a representative from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
