Listing Regional Council of Cairns and Shire of Yarrabah areas of COVID-19 local transmission as hotspots

The Australian Government Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly, has today declared the Regional Council of Cairns and the Shire of Yarrabah as Hotspots for the purpose of Commonwealth support from 11:59 pm 8 August 2021 until 11:59 pm 11 August 2021 with review on or before 11 August 2021.
