Free Interpreting Service for Allied Health Professionals – Webinar slides

Allied health professionals recently gained access to the Free Interpreting Services (FIS). On 7 December 2022, the Australian Government Chief Allied Health Officer, Dr Anne-marie Boxall, ran a webinar to provide information on the program, how to use an interpreter and how to access the service.

This is the Australian Government response to the former Commissioner, Emeritus Professor Paul Worley’s report. The response outlines the work that will be undertaken to improve the capacity, quality, and distribution of allied health services to meet the needs of rural and remote Australians.
