Opportunities available to nurses include:
- Aged Care Transition to Practice Program
- Aged Care Nursing Clinical Placements Program
- Aged Care Nursing Scholarships Program.
Transition to Practice Program
The Aged Care Transition to Practice Program supports new aged care nurses with training and professional development opportunities.
Participants receive specialist training in aged care nursing and mentorship from senior nurses.
Scholarships
The Aged Care Nursing Scholarships Program provides the opportunity for aged care workers to complete formal qualifications in aged care nursing.
The program also provides registered and enrolled nurses with training to develop their leadership skills and experience to progress their nursing careers in aged care.

Clinical placements
Diploma, Bachelor and Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) students can receive support to gain high-quality clinical placements in the care and support sector, including:

- veterans’ care
