About the webinar

We are collaborating with Dementia Training Australia to host an 8-part series designed to help aged care providers and designers understand and apply the National Aged Care Design Principles and Guidelines.

This session will explore Principle 1 Enable the Person. Principle 1 aims to support older people living in a place that maintains their health, wellbeing and sense of identity.

In this third webinar in the series will learn about:

  • supporting people to maintain their health, wellbeing and sense of identity
  • guidelines on wayfinding, perception and movement
  • assessing an environment with the Care Home Assessment Tool (CHAT)
