About the webinar

From 1 July 2023, approved residential aged care providers must have at least one registered nurse (RN) on-site and on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at each residential facility they operate.

This webinar will provide information to the residential aged care sector on the new 24/7 registered nurse responsibility, including reporting obligations and data quality.

The webinar will also cover the new 24/7 registered nurse supplement that commences on 1 July 2023 to support providers to meet the new 24/7 registered nurse responsibility. This supplement has been increased from the previously announced rates to account for the 15% award wage increase for registered nurses.

You can submit questions before the event via registration and/or during the webinar.

The webinar recording and presentation slides will be published on the department’s website after the webinar.
