We can all catch the flu or COVID-19 any time of year – no matter if it is warm or cool weather.

But the best way to make sure you and your mob don’t get really sick is to keep up to date with your COVID-19 vaccinations, and have a flu shot as soon as possible.

You can get both vaccinations at the same time – it’s easy and safe for everyone, from nanas to littlies.

And if you’re pregnant, the COVID-19 and flu vaccines are safe and will help protect you and your baby.

Both vaccines are free for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

And remember, you can reduce your risk of catching and spreading the flu and COVID-19 by washing your hands regularly, wearing a mask, covering your mouth with your arm when you cough or sneeze, and staying home when you’re sick.

Protect yourself and your mob by yarning to your local health worker about getting vaccinated.
