Providers must give this fact sheet to people before they complete the opting in form (AC022) on Services Australia’s website.
It provides information about opting in to the new residential aged care fee arrangements that started on 1 November 2025, including:
- fees and contributions residents may pay
- how opting in affects accommodation costs
- what a person should consider before opting in.
