Multijurisdictional Syphilis Outbreak (MJSO) Surveillance Report – February 2020

This report summarises the status of an ongoing outbreak of infectious syphilis among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote and rural areas of northern Australia, as of 31 January 2020.

The Multijurisdictional Syphilis Outbreak Working Group is responding to an ongoing outbreak of infectious syphilis among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote and rural areas of northern Australia.

 This surveillance report summarises the outbreak epidemiological data between January 2011 and 31 January 2020.
