This review aimed to form the evidence base for the Biosimilar Awareness Initiative – which has now ended. We procured the University of South Australia to conduct a comprehensive literature search and review of material published between 1 June 2004 and 28 April 2016 about biosimilar awareness.
The primary literature review was published in June 2016. This was subsequently extended with quarterly updates to cover July 2016 to June 2018.
