The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing collects and uses your personal information to identify your care contribution rate range, in accordance with the Aged Care (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2024.
Services Australia also collects and uses your personal information to calculate your Support at Home contribution rate and will share this indicative rate with your provider. Your provider will discuss the indicative rate with you before you are asked to enter a new service agreement for Support at Home. The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing determines your contribution band using existing information. If you believe your contribution band is incorrect, you can contact Services Australia directly on 1800 227 475 to update your financial information.
