Volume 9 of the Final Report outlined the issues and themes identified through listening to the many stories and experiences shared with the Disability Royal Commission by a wide range of First Nations people with disability, their families, carers, supporters, and communities.
This volume included 13 recommendations that propose changes in removing barriers to improve outcomes and experiences, accessible and culturally appropriate safe supports particularly in regional and remote areas and elevating disability policies, strategies, and programs for First Nations people with disability.
