Budget 2019–20: More Choices for a Longer Life – strengthened regulation through risk based targeting and information sharing

The Government will introduce a new way to target and respond to poorly performing aged care providers. A new integrated information sharing system will identify aged care providers that pose a risk to consumers. The system will be established within the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and support a new risk based assessment approach.
