Budget 2019–20: Boosting Grassroots Participation in Sport – tennis and netball

The Government will boost grassroots participation in sport with new initiatives aimed at increasing opportunities for women and girls in tennis and netball. New programs for disadvantaged and hard to reach communities will help retain more girls and young women in tennis, develop talent, boost the number of female coaches, and help create future female leaders in the sport.

Funding to NT Netball will support its participation in the Australian Netball League and enable NT netball players to compete with the best in their sport in Australia.
