Aged Care System Navigator (ACSN) Measure Interim Evaluation Report – Executive summary

This report provides information on the progress of the ACSN measure trials. The measure is testing different models to help people understand and engage with the aged care system for people who have had difficulty in accessing the services they need.

The Aged Care System Navigator (ACSN) Measure is a program of four trials that aim to support people who face barriers to accessing aged care understand, access and engage with the aged care system. The measure is aimed at testing different models to inform future decision making.

This Interim Report presents evaluation of data collected up to 23 March 2020 on this measure. This executive summary of the report outlines interim findings from the trials including:

  • background on the implementation including challenges faced in implementing the measure
  • the appropriateness, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the trials
  • opportunities to enhance the trials.
