The AusVaxSafety system actively monitors vaccine safety throughout Australia. This infographic provides a visual representation of the number of parents and carers who responded to an SMS about their child's health a few days after their 12 month vaccinations. The infographic shows the percentage of reported adverse events, reported non events, the percentage of those who took their child to a doctor or emergency department in the days after vaccination, the most commonly reported events of the parents and carers who reported one or more adverse events. The infographic also displays the vaccines given at 12 months in 2016-17 and what diseases the vaccines protect against.
