1800 Medicare (1800 633 422)

A free, 24/7 service where you can speak to a registered nurse about any health concern. The nurse will ask you about your symptoms and guide you to the right care. You can also download the 1800 Medicare app to access health information that you, your doctors and representatives have uploaded to the My Health Record. It also gives you access to electronic prescriptions and your Active Script List.

Endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics

There are 33 clinics nationwide that offer expert care for pelvic pain and endometriosis, and 11 of which also provide support for the menopause transition. The rest of the clinics will offer perimenopause and menopause support from 1 July 2026. 

Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) Practitioner Directory

A directory of health professionals who support women through midlife, menopause and healthy ageing. Practitioners listed in the directory are members of AMS. You can search by name and location.
