From 1 November 2025, the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP) will provide an additional 12.5% incentive payment on Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) benefits paid for BBPIP MBS eligible services, split evenly between the GP and the practice, when all GPs in BBPIP participating practices bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all BBPIP MBS eligible services.
This expression of interest form should be completed by the practice manager (or equivalent), to indicate the practice’s intent to participate in the BBPIP. If you are a GP, you may like to discuss this with your practice manager.
Practice managers (or equivalent) – express your practice’s interest in joining BBPIP and receive:
- Early access to Medicare Bulk Billing Practice signage, required to be displayed on-site if you participate in BBPIP and to be eligible for the BBPIP incentive payment.
- Email updates in the lead up to the launch of BBPIP such as how to register in BBPIP via Services Australia’s Organisation Register, and in Healthdirect Australia’s National Health Services Directory (NHSD).
