MPSP Policy Manual
The policy manual provides you guidance on your operational requirements as an MPSP provider and explains the Australian Government’s policy context.
Part of the MPSP subsidy is linked to the Accessibility/Remoteness Index of Australia (ARIA).
Reporting requirements
Each MPSP provider must submit an Annual Activity Report (AAR) to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The AAR collects information on the delivery of aged care and health services at each MPS.
This information supports the Australian Government to manage the program, monitor service delivery in rural and remote communities, and plan for future demand. Completion and submission of the AAR is a legislative requirement under the Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025.

Service Agreement template
Under the Aged Care Act 2024 every person receiving funded aged care services needs to have a service agreement in place. A Service Agreement template is available for providers.
