Public consultations

You can have a say in how the Australian Government spends MRFF money.

The Australian Medical Research Advisory Board (AMRAB) consults on the strategy and priorities for the MRFF every 5 and 2 years, respectively. AMRAB then develops the next strategy and set of priorities based on this feedback.

AMRAB talks to:

• organisations with expertise in health and medical research and innovation
• consumer representatives
• clinicians
• health services managers.

We also consult the public on other matters relating to the MRFF.

AMRAB invites you to provide feedback on the:

• draft Australian Medical Research and Innovation Strategy 2026-2031
• draft Australian Medical Research and Innovation Priorities 2026-2028.

You can have your say through our consultation hub between 17 July 2026 and 16 August 2026.

The Reducing Health Inequities Mission Expert Advisory Panel is seeking your input to the:

• draft Roadmap for the Reducing Health Inequities Mission
• draft Implementation Plan for the mission.
