Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) 10-year Investment Plan

The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) 10-year Investment Plan sets out the Australian Government’s plans for MRFF funding. It supports lifesaving medical research, job creation, local industry and growing Australia’s reputation as a world leader in medical research.

About the 10-year Investment Plan

The MRFF 10-year Investment Plan provides funding for 22 initiatives to support:

  • lifesaving research
  • job creation
  • local industry
  • growing Australia’s reputation as a world leader in medical research.

The plan provides flexibility for the MRFF to respond to emerging health challenges while focusing on addressing key health challenges.

It also provides the mechanism for implementing the current Australian Medical Research and Innovation Strategy and the related Priorities. Together, these documents support decision-making on how to use MRFF funds.
