Community Visitors Scheme (CVS)

The CVS arranges volunteer visits to older people to provide friendship and companionship. Visits are available to anyone receiving government-subsidised aged care services.

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) has supported volunteer visits to older people for over 30 years. From 1 July 2023, the CVS will become the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS).
