You can apply for an assessment online and search for local aged care providers that meet your needs.

You can also call 1800 200 422 Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm.

National Aged Care Design Principles and Guidelines

The National Aged Care Design Principles and Guidelines provide a comprehensive, evidence-based resource to guide accommodation design to support the delivery of high quality, safe, respectful and dignified care for older people living in residential aged care accommodation.

Changes to aged care in Australia

The document outlines reforms to improve the quality and accessibility of aged care services for older people. Many of these changes are in response to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
