New Aged Care Bill 2024

The Australian Government introduced the Aged Care Bill 2024 to Parliament on 12 September 2024. It passed Parliament on 25 November 2024 and will become the new Aged Care Act from 1 July 2025. For more information, read the:

New aged care regulatory model – Questions and answers – Webinar

The new aged care regulatory model will come into effect with the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025. This will be an opportunity for providers to engage directly with the department to understand how the new regulatory model will work , via a Q&A session with the panel.
